You can set up a consultation call or schedule an appointment by sending us a message through our contact form on our "Contact Us" page, or by emailing us directly at illuminatecounselingservice@gmail.com. We will respond within 48 hours and help you find a time that works for you. 

Yes, we offer both in-person and virtual sessions to accommodate your needs and preferences. Virtual sessions are conducted through a secure telehealth platform.

The frequency of counseling sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Some clients prefer to come in weekly, while others prefer bi-weekly or monthly sessions. Many clients do start with weekly or bi-weekly sessions, and adjust over time as progress is made.

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna PPO, and Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO through Northwestern. You can contact your insurance to verify your coverage for our services and to learn about any copays or out-of-pocket costs. 

If you don’t have insurance or prefer not to use it, we offer private pay options. Sliding scale fees may also be available based on financial need.

Sessions typically last 50 minutes. Longer sessions can be arranged if needed, especially for couples or families.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Missed appointments or late cancellations will be subject to a fee. Insurance will not cover late cancel or no show fees. 

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know you, discuss your goals for therapy, and create a plan tailored to your needs. It’s a time to ask questions and share what brought you to counseling.
